Castle Holtmühle

You will find the Ceramics Center in the beautifully restored tithe barn of the unique and historic estate Kasteel Holtmühle (17th century). This castle complex is one of the few in the Netherlands completely preserved complete with moat, tithe barn, castle gates, gardens, ponds and lands. Today the castle is home to the hotel-restaurant Chateau Holtmühle.

The Gardens

Around the Castle Holtmühle are beautiful castle gardens in various styles to admire. For example, a small English-style park with its winding paths, stream, pond and bridges gives the romantic surroundings a special accent. The castle's herb garden is also worth visiting. Admission is free or by appointment. For opening hours, visit www.kruidentuintegelenchateau.nl.
