Supervising workshops (volunteer-job)

Keramiekcentrum Tiendschuur Tegelen is a museum and a workshop! Workshops are organised here and participants learn more about this unique craft. Modelling workshops, pot throwing workshops, painting-on-ceramics workshops, etc., are all activities that need supervision.

Working hours: when there are applications for workshops, the latter takes place during the museum’s opening times: Tuesdays to Sundays, 11:00-17:00.

What we expect from you:
Enthusiasm and a friendly attitude towards visitors. We are looking for a creative jack of all trades who not only has an affinity with clay, loves modelling, but also possesses communicative and educational skills.

What you can expect from us:
A pleasant place to work. A fine team of volunteers and employees who support each other where necessary.


Handymen team on Monday morning (volunteer job).

Our technical handymen group can do with some extra hands! Tackling all sorts of jobs such as carpentry, painting, supporting conversions for new exhibitions and putting out the necessary attributes in museum and workshop for openings and demonstrations.

Working hours: Monday mornings.

What we expect from you:
For this team, we are looking for men who are not physically disabled and are not afraid of hard work.

What you can expect from us:
A team of men carrying out necessary chores in a pleasant atmosphere on Monday mornings. The cups of coffee all of you will need are equally important!

Required experience:
Have you got two right hands, then you are the person we are looking for.

If, like most of us, you have got 1 right hand and 1 left hand, then you can still assist us fine with, among other things, transport activities and putting out materials for events and courses.


Supervision of children’s activities (volunteer job)

The ceramics centre is certainly a place for children! Modelling course on Wednesday afternoons for children aged 6 – 12. Possibilities for children’s parties, single modelling workshops and school visits with guided tours and creative conclusion. These are all activities requiring supervision.

Working hours; Wednesday afternoons, Saturday afternoons.

What we expect from you:
For this, we are looking for a creative jack of all trades who not only has affinity with children, who loves modelling, but who also possesses communicative and educational skills.

What you can expect from us:
A pleasant team of teachers supervising the children’s activities. Regular brushing up of modelling and decorating techniques by one of our professional course teachers.

Required experience:
Modelling experience and experience in working with children from the 6-12 years of age target group are advantages.
