This masterpiece of the museum will be brought out again for Christmas. Jac Bongaerts’ three-meter-long ceramic Christmas group. He worked more than 400 hours on this Christmas group that weighs over 100 pounds. This Christmas group is placed in a Limburg landscape, with well-known Tegel figures from the youth of Bongaerts such as the fishmonger, the charcoal collector and the organ man who roam the streets. It is one of the last projects Jac Bongaerts made before his death in 1997. A film is also shown on which Jac Bongaerts is making this Christmas group. This can be seen, along with a number of other Christmas groups from December 1 to January 10.
