It is on display again, Jac. Bongaerts’ amazing Christmas group!

This masterpiece of the museum is brought out every year around Christmas time. The Christmas group is three meters long, Jac. Bongaerts worked more than 400 hours on it and its weight is more than 100 kilos. Jac. placed this Christmas group in a Limburg landscape, with well-known Tegel figures who roamed the streets in his youth such as the fishmonger, the charcoal collector and the organ man. The Christmas group is one of the last projects Jac Bongaerts made before he passed away in 1997.
